Seminar description:

  • Know when to refrain from setting monuments
  • Know the essentials of interpreting descriptions in Minnesota
  • Know the basics of Minnesota Boundary Law
  • Know how to lie with maps
  • Know the essential things to show on surveys for boundary litigation
  • Know how to testify in court
  • Know the essential things to show on the final survey to be filed in the land records

Clinton McLagan is licensed as a lawyer and land surveyor in Minnesota. He has successfully tried boundary, easement, real estate contract and mechanic lien cases from the trial court to the state supreme court. By teaching, writing and lecturing he has had his work reviewed by professionals for over 30 years.

Boundary Litigation Seminars, Inc. was created to give McLagan a means of sharing his unique experience, education and knowledge with lawyers and land surveyors in Minnesota.
