B.S.I.: Boundary Scene Investigation
This one-day seminar focuses on gathering clues and problem solving for the location of boundaries. The discussion includes the requirements of law for land surveying, the philosophy and history of forensic investigation, and methodology applied to both record evidence and physical items and features. Proven techniques for problem-solving and cases studies are reviewed.
The seminar is directed toward surveyors becoming good investigators, not just “lookers” for any pipes that are obvious. It concentrates on thought processes, applies logic and deals with drawing the right conclusions from the evidence. A number of forensic-type case studies are involved in the seminar along with some thought-provoking problems the audience is asked to analyze and solve.
In addition to well-prepared hand-out materials, Don Wilson will provide a special seminar price for his books and other publications, along with free shipping, to all seminar attendees.
